Thermal repair applicator for repairing various materials

When you add hotfix crystals to your fabric, you create instant glamour and your pieces look more expensive. Crystals can be added to many surfaces. Whether you choose to use a variety of colors, finishes and sizes the possibilities are endless.

The edazzler kit with rhinestones with seven tips is available for crystals ranging in size from 2-9 mm. First, you select the size of crystal you want to use, then screw in the matching tip. You need to insert the applicator and let the tips heat up for about 5 minutes. You need to work on a flat surface.

While the hotfix rhinestones applicator is heating up, you can pick up the crystal. The adhesive side (bottom) is facing up. When you pick up the crystal, you may not be aware of the adhesive bottom. Hold your wand straight up so that the crystal is flat and does not fall off.

This is the crystal after about 15 seconds. You can see that the glue is now very wet and hot! Some crystals can heat up much faster - you will need to watch as you work.
Carefully bring your bedazzler to the position where you want to place the crystal and set the rhinestone in a straight up/down motion and immediately lift the applicator straight up.

You apply heat to the crystal in this manner. The crystal will get hot enough to melt the glue at the bottom. Again, always be careful. A hot spot can be used to heat a crystal that may have been placed in the wrong place. You can move the crystal again. The hot spot tip is very useful in other sewing applications. It can temporarily glue other backed products so that when you bring them to the iron, they will hold in place.
